Kairi stood on the shore staring into the sea, letting the crisp ocean air surround her.  She had always smell of the ocean.  She sat down in the warm golden sand and took a deep breath. She dug her fingers deeper into the sand.  Feeling something smooth touch her fingers, she looked down and saw a papou fruit.  
Staring at the fruit, she tried to bring back a memory from a long time ago.  But nothing came.  Looking back out to the sea, she felt like someone was missing, someone important.
Someone who was at one time very close to her.  She got up and walked to the water, Breathing out she let the water cover her bare feet. A silver teat rolled down her cheek as she tried to bring back all the memories she wanted to remember. Looking down at the papou fruit in her hand, she gently let it fall into the water. And watched it float away.
